As far as I can see, the only feature of the comping system (?) is that it groups the track with sub tracks and the only function seems to be that they can collectively be moved up and down in the playlist as a group.Ĭan it even replace slices that you make? - or do you still have to manually move things around?
There are no options to select sections of clips and have them automatically inserted on the main track. Whilst FL Studio videos suggested they now have a comping system, I don't see how it works. I thought there might be an option somewhere so I just had a little play around - as I usually track in Pro Tools so have yet to track audio in the recent version of FL Studio, beyond testing the punch-in feature (finally - it works! - and they solved the micro clip bug!).
The 'purge unused audio' should give the option to delete files from disk or just clips from project but it only removes from the project - which is far from ideal.
